Freedom Wall Code

Our agreement to keep our student platform safe, respectful, and open for everyone.

๐Ÿ“– Article I: Definition of MNHS ngl

Platform Identity

Section 1

MNHS ngl is an independent, student-led digital freedom wall designed exclusively for the Marinduque National High School (MNHS) community. It serves as a secure, anonymous message-sharing platform where students can express their thoughts, share experiences, and connect without fear of judgment.

๐ŸŽฏ Article II: The Objective

Core Purpose

Section 1

The primary objective of MNHS ngl is to foster open communication, cultivate a supportive online campus culture, and provide a safe space for free expression while strictly adhering to community safety standards and ethical digital citizenship.

๐Ÿ›๏ธ Article III: Administrative Authority and Eligibility

Active Student & Faculty Status

Section 1

To maintain the authenticity of the platform, all active administrators managing the public Facebook page must be verified as bona fide currently enrolled students or official faculty members of Marinduque National High School. This ensures that those leading the daily digital conversation are direct, active members of the campus community.

The Neutral Gatekeeper Principle

Section 2

The primary duty of an administrator is to act as a neutral gatekeeper. Administrators must filter submissions strictly to protect student safety while simultaneously upholding the right to free expression. All moderators are bound to perform their duties without personal bias, favoritism, or prejudice. Personal friendships, conflicts, or student affiliations must never influence whether a submission is approved or rejected.

Caretaker Continuity

Section 3

When a student administrator graduates, transitions, or departs from their role, they are granted a strict, non-extendable caretaker transition period of up to 30 days to complete a secure handover to a qualified, active student successor. Student administrators are strictly prohibited from holding page credentials beyond this limit. If no successor is formally appointed, credentials revert to the Founding Team to safeguard technical security.

๐Ÿ”’ Article IV: Privacy, Anonymity, and Data Protection

Absolute Anonymity

Section 1

Our platform guarantees absolute, structural anonymity for all content submitters. The administration team shall not record, track, or attempt to uncover personal accounts, metadata, IP addresses, or sender tracking logs for any regular compliant post. Anonymity is the bedrock of free and honest student communication.

Personal Redaction & Deletion Rights

Section 2

If a sender accidentally includes their own real name, the admin must redact it before posting. If a student provides proof they authored a post, or is the direct subject of a post and requests its removal, the admin must delete it within 12 to 24 hours. This privacy and deletion right is strictly personal and cannot be exercised by third-party proxies (such as friends or romantic partners).

Visual Privacy Shield

Section 3

To prevent unauthorized exposure, screenshots of private chats, messaging threads, or personal accounts must have all names, profile pictures, and unique identifying landmarks heavily blurred or redacted. Photos of students or teachers taken without their direct, verifiable consent are prohibited from public posting.

๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ Article V: Content Standards, Safety, and Ethics

Section 5

The use of extreme profanity, graphic descriptions of violence, or sexually explicit content is strictly banned. Administrators may censor minor profanities within constructive, relatable rants using symbols (e.g., asterisks) to maintain a school-appropriate context.

Emergency Self-Harm Protection

Section 2

If a submission indicates a credible, immediate threat of self-harm, suicide, or physical violence, absolute anonymity is suspended.
